Overview

Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our exciting and innovative organization!

 

Position: Full Time 40 hours (salaried position) 

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM

Occasional Weekends & Holidays

 

Responsible for coordinating the design, writing and maintenance of the most complex programs and systems installations to support management control and decision-making activities. Studies and analyzes information needs for current and planned management functions to assure data and methods are within constraints of cost and time. Designs, codes and tests complex systems. Provides expert technical direction to projects that deal with one or more highly specialized applications of systems analysis and programming. Formulates and defines

system scope and objectives. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications system analysis and programming; experience with SQL Server, .Net, and Visual Basic (VB) a must. May be responsible for multiple phases of a project. Emphasis is on analytical component of work with some project management responsibilities. Typically reports to a manager.

Functions as the highest level individual contributor performing advanced programming and systems analysis work to provide support or direction to projects. Reviews all phases of systems analyses and design. Provides technical direction to highly complex projects and installations. Formulates scope and objectives of the system through research to develop or modify the most complex data processing systems. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education, training or experience) in computer science. Skills and experience typically acquired through at least seven to ten years of programming/analysis experience. Complete working knowledge of programming analysis and design. Solid understanding of current information system. Ability to listen to needs of users and translate this information into user-friendly systems to supply needed data. Ability to work with both technical and non-technical personnel. Knowledge of business functions. High proficiency in all aspects of programming and analysis, including design factors, hardware and software requirements, systems facilities, and execution protocols. Knowledge of several 4th generation programming language. Provides excellent customer service, finding creative ways to avoid saying “no”, while compromising with and educating users. Demonstrates a commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work. Manages multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently. Plans, prioritizes and organizes work in order to accomplish assignments and meet all deadlines. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Follows all departmental policies and procedures. Proven track record of success on complex projects.
