Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Provider Education Coordinator to join our exciting and innovative team!

 

Full Time: 38.75

 

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM Varied and Flexible

 

 

Performs administrative support duties to support the efforts of the Learning and Organizational Development group in the development of continuing education for providers.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, maintains and archives the CME process for providers. 
  • Maintains and archives budget and provider reimbursement data related to CME activities. 
  • Schedules workshops, instructors, and rooms; assists instructors with course setup and other training requirements. 
  • Registers workshop participants and generates related documents. 
  • Reviews training requests and enrollments; adjusts training schedule as required according to enrollment data. 
  • Participates in Physician Shadow Program. 
  • Serve as the program coordinator for the Provider Orientation Programs. 
  • Extracts enrollment data; compiles and prepares statistical reports for management review. 
  • Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc. 
  • Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives. 
  • Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.  
  • Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed. 
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed. 
  • Regular, reliable and predicable attendance is required.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree and two to three years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Ability to set up, calibrate, and operate audio and video equipment.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
  • Organizing and coordinating skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to present information to groups.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the budgeting process preferred.
