Overview

Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Population Health Analytics to join our exciting and innovative organization!

 

Full Time: 40

Hours: 8:30 am-5:00 pm

 

Prepares high-level analyses, models and reports to support Population Health initiatives; growth and other strategic business goals. Enhances efficiencies in reporting processes. Identifies issues; analyzes complex data; proposes and implements solutions; and, monitors results.

Responsibilities

Develops audits and maintains corporate, service line and provider specific profiles, inclusive of financial, utilization, quality and other information. In conjunction with the department leaders, provides in depth analysis and training to providers or others.

 

Coordinates a wide variety of assigned projects related to Population Health performance improvement. Prepares advanced statistical and other models to support targeted population health management; evaluation of quality and utilization risk; and, capacity for patient growth.

 

Develops competency in the use of EPIC “Clarity” database and “Workbench” tools for data drill downs and analysis, along with related data files for prescription drugs.

 

Reviews medical records for quality process and outcomes measures for monthly and yearly reconciliations

 

Ensures accuracy and integrity of all information included in reports and analyses prepared by self or analysts.

 

Identifies, researches, and validates significant data ‘outliers’. Follows up to resolve issues as required.

 

Provides academic institutions and other experts’ meaningful data to help the research and development of programs aimed at improvement of quality and cost of care for patients with chronic conditions.

 

Maintains current documentation of all routine processes in central location as required or directed.

 

Meets distribution schedules as required or directed.

 

Adheres to all established policies regarding confidentiality of patient information.

 

Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, etc.

 

Complies with established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.

 

Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.

 

Attends a variety of meetings, conferences, and seminars as required or directed.

 

Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare, Nursing, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Three to Five years’ of relevant experience. Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite software.  Additional facility with SQL, statistics, progressive experience with Decision Management systems and SAS helpful. Demonstrated advanced analytical skills.  Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.  Demonstrated knowledge of data streams; variety of utilization, quality, financial, operational and statistical data.
