Overview

Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our excited and innovative organization!

 

Full Time: 40 hours per week

Hours: Varied Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM and includes one or two evenings until 7:00PM 

May eventually be 1 Saturday mornings a month

 

Evaluate and treat patients with physical therapy modalities.  Complete documentation to Medicare and department standards

Responsibilities

  • Provides and documents the full range of physical therapy treatments and tests to all categories of patients, supervises supportive personnel and participates in educational services.
  • Conducts physical therapy patient evaluations.
  • Additional training in the field of women's health.
  • Specifies which definitive therapy assessment procedures are indicated.
  • Conducts definitive therapy testing and interprets patient data.
  • Performs treatment design planning and modification.
  • Designs and documents therapy plan of care.
  • Modifies therapy goal or plan if necessary. Evaluates, interprets and responds to changes in physiological state.
  • Evaluates and implements treatments. Designs and manages therapeutic program based on department standards.
  • Utilizes all appropriate equipment per department protocols and standards.
  • Utilizes knowledge and skills required to perform process involved in the delivery of age-appropriate patient care. Provides care appropriate to the patient population served.
  • Communicates effectively with patients and caregivers. Provides and documents specific training related to patient’s dysfunction. Provides patient educational materials appropriate to patient and family needs.
  • Provides clinical instruction to affiliating physical therapy and physical therapist assistant students.

 

Qualifications

 Doctorate, Master or Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from a school accredited or approved by American Physical Therapy Association. Licensure in Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Additional training in the field of women's health. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
